The Fairy with No Wings
This is about a fairy who feels sad because she has no wings. She doesn’t like feeling different. In the end she realises that it’s ok to be different, and authentically yourself.
What inspired you to write ‘The Fairy with no Wings’?
I was booked to go on a story telling course and I needed to tell a story. As a primary school teacher, I had always enjoyed reading books that told how the camel got his hump or the zebra got his stripes.
So I created up with a story about a fairy finding her wings. I never went on the course. I did remember that I had always wanted to write a children’s book. And having already written my first book, I decided to turn this story into a book.
I decided to illustrate my book myself, which really took me out of my comfort zone. I thoroughly enjoyed using watercolours and creating the illustrations for this book.

The Elf with No Friends
This is the second in my Fairy and Elf Story series of books.
Gilbert is lonely when he is at Elf School as he has no friends. He decides to go on a mission to find his kind of people.
What inspired you to write ‘The Elf with no Friends?
When I was writing the Fairy with no Wings, I came up with five book ideas in the series. My friend, who played Gilbert at the fairy with no wings book launch, challenged me to put a snail in the book about Gilbert. So Charlie the snail was created!
I do like to rise to a challenge!
There are other elves in this story too.
I have realised that I like writing stories that will help children.
And I’ve also realised that Gilbert is a little like I was when I was at school.

Dream, Believe, Achieve
This was actually the first book I wrote. I started writing it two years after I recovered from fibromyalgia and CFS. I had become a master NLP practitioner and I also was becoming the authentic version of myself.
I was helping people with my coaching and NLP and I wanted to reach a wider audience and help people to create the life they dream of.
However, it took me four years to actually turn it into a book. I explain in the book, the reasons for this. Life happens. We are continually learning and growing and facing adversity.
I now use the tools and techniques I have interwoven around my story in this book, every day.
I continually Dream, Believe, Achieve.
This book will show you how.
